Milken Institute Global Investors’ Symposium Mexico City to Focus on Capital in a Changing World

The Milken Institute announced today the return of its signature investors-focused convening, the Global Investors’ Symposium, to Mexico City. The event will take place on October 28 at the Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City, under the theme Capital in a Changing World. This year’s Symposium gathers 500 business leaders from around the world across finance, business, technology, and government to examine the forces directing global capital that shape investment across Mexico and the broader Americas. The program will focus on shifts in global supply chains, technology, trade, and policy that are influencing investment decisions and driving the region’s economic landscape.

Expected panels include:

  • Global Overview: Capital in a Changing World

  • Backing Latin America’s Founders

  • The AI Race: Competing for Compute, Capital, and Talent

  • Beyond Succession: How the Next Generation Is Redefining Leadership

“Long-term investors remain confident in Mexico and the opportunities ahead. Its talent, industrial base, proximity to the United States, and role in global supply chains continue to make a compelling investment case. But long-term confidence does not mean the road ahead will be smooth. The next 18-24 months are likely to be bumpy as trade relationships are tested and the rules governing North American commerce continue to evolve. The recent turmoil between Canada and the United States is a reminder that even relationships we once considered predictable can no longer be taken for granted,” said Laura Deal Lacey, executive vice president, International at the Milken Institute. “Mexico and the United States remain deeply interconnected, and maintaining that integration will be critical to the competitiveness of the entire region. For long-term investors, periods of disruption can also create opportunity. These are the topics that will be addressed in public and private discussions at the Symposium.”

The Global Investors’ Symposium Mexico City, underwritten by Veritas, will feature business leaders, investors, senior executives, policymakers, and pension leaders speaking on a series of public panel discussions, high-level fireside plenaries, and intimate private roundtables. All public sessions are available on the Milken Institute’s website. For sponsorships, partnership engagements, and program collaborations, please email latam@milkeninstitute.org.
