WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Growing Justice Fund (GJF) is proud to announce Elizabeth J. Reynoso as its first Managing Director. In this founding role, Reynoso will lead the Fund’s strategy and operations, working in close partnership with GJF’s Advisory Committee, grantee partners, and the broader food justice movement to advance practitioner-led grantmaking and investments in community-led initiatives across the food chain supporting values-based good food purchasing.
Reynoso brings more than two decades of experience spanning government, philanthropy, and national systems-change work, with a career-long focus on food policy, economic opportunity, and community-led governance. At Living Cities, a member collaborative of leading philanthropic and financial institutions, Elizabeth led an initiative for public servants and leaders dedicated to changing policies, practices and processes to address wealth disparities through procurement and other governmental systems.

I’m joining the Growing Justice Fund because it’s building something different: a fund that’s accountable to the communities and grantee partners it exists to serve. Reynoso holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Wellesley College. She serves on the boards of the Center for Good Food Purchasing and the NJ Foodshed Alliance.
